Howdy, friends! Breathe Hope during Spring 2010 will present countless opportunities to get involved, create and flourish friendships, and help work for our cause! We can't wait to see you all again, and we hope that you are ready for the challenges and joy that all this semester will bring. Our third annual Great Strides is set for May 1st, 2010, and we have several other fundraising and social events to look forward to.
For those who are thinking about joining us, we highly encourage you to explore our website to discover some of what we do, stop by our table at Spring Open House, come to our informationals, apply to be a part of Breathe Hope, and begin to make an impact! We look forward to meeting more enthusiastic students and welcoming new members into our Breathe Hope family.

Third Annual GREAT STRIDES 5K Run/Walk, College Station: May 1st, 2010
Breathe Hope is privileged to be the only college group to host Great Strides, one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s most recognized fundraisers. In cities all across the United States, tens of thousands of people gather together to show their commitment to “adding tomorrows everyday” to the lives of those with cystic fibrosis through the simple act of walking. Since the first Great Strides walk in 1989, more than $180 million has been raised to support the vital research and care programs of the CF Foundation.
In 2010, we hope to have our most successful event yet. Our members are dividing into four committees: Registration & Letter Writing, Public Relations, Silent Auction, and Entertainment & Set Up. Yes, you guessed it -- there will be some live entertainment, as well as an amazing craft fair/silent auction! Our members will be making different crafts and Aggie goodies to add to whatever we are donated by our local businesses.
We need your help! If you are interested in sponsoring or participating in the event, please contact us. Also, if you know anyone that has a craft-making gift, or if you would like to donate some of your own time and talent, please contact us!
